𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 – 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆.

Last September we had our launch event in EYE Amsterdam. We want to thank all 120+ guests for participating in our event. It was a wonderful afternoon thanks to you, and we hope to cooperate and connect with you in the future.

We started the afternoon with a presentation by our founders Lucas Pool and Sander De Groot. Since we presented in a film museum, we then presented a video message from prominent political supporters Silvio Erkens, Laurens Dassen and Henri Bontenbal.
Next, we invited several of our partners on stage to explain why they work with us.

First Joseph Peeraer, from Positron Ventures to discuss why he wanted to invest into Thorizon and how Positron supports bolt bets on science.

Next Bertrand Morel from Orano discussed how the Thorizon technology can be used to burn existing nuclear waste, and how good cooperation between France and the Netherlands is vital for the success of this project.

Last Jan Leen Kloosterman from Delft University of Technology on how the TU Delft is involved in nuclear reactor research and why nuclear innovation such as Thorizon is important for research and education at the TU Delft.

After wrapping up the program with a panel discussion, we ended the afternoon with networking drinks, where we hope everyone has made valuable connections. We sure have.

The video and pictures of the event will be posted online soon, check our website for more information.

We’d like to thank all the speakers and guests for participating in our event, MareVisie Projectmanagement for helping us with some of the organisation, Jochem de Groot for the pictures and Sannah H.P van Balen for the organisation and moderating of the event.
